Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger

What you'll need:

• 1 ½ pounds ground chuck
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon chili powder
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 2 teaspoons Worchestire sauce

Optional toppings:

• 4-8 slices cheddar cheese
• sliced tomatoes
• french fried onions (or sliced red onions)
• cooked bacon slices
• ¼ cup BBQ sauce
• lettuce
• 4 burger buns

Directions:
1. In a large bowl, gently mix ground beef with seasonings and Worchestire sauce. Be careful not to overmix.

2. Form 4 large patties with the ground beef and set to the side.

3. Preheat the grill to at least 400º Fahrenheit. Once grill has preheated cook burgers 4-5 minutes per side, or until your desired level of "done".

4. Once burgers are just about done, top burgers with 1-2 slices of cheese. Continue to cook to allow cheese to melt.

5. To assemble burgers, add lettuce to the top of the bottom bun, then a burger, then onions, tomatoes and bacon. Spread about a tablespoon of BBQ sauce over the bottom of the top bun.

6. Close the burgers and serve.

Mustard Crusted Cheeseburgers

This burger is built with classic flavors using American cheese, onions and dill pickles. Its mustard crusted bun gives a unique punch of flavor that will have everyone coming back for more! (recipe and photo courtesy of girlscangrill.com)

What you'll need:

• 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
• kosher salt
• course ground black pepper
• 1/4 cup yellow mustard
• 1/3 cup beef tallow melted
• 1/2 white onion thinly sliced
• 8 slices American cheese
• 16 dill pickle slices
• 8 hamburger buns

Directions:

1. Divide the ground beef into eight 2-ounce portions. Shape into patties.

2. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Spread mustard on one side.

3. Melt the beef tallow in a pot or in the microwave.

4. Heat a griddle to medium high. Brush the griddle with the melted beef tallow.

5. Add the patties, mustard side down. Add a handful of sliced onions on top of each patty. Cook, until the patties develop a crust. Flip.

6. Top each patty with American cheese, two pickles and a top bun.

7. Continue cooking for a few minutes, until the meat is cooked through and the cheese is melted. Transfer to a platter with the bottom buns.
