Unique New Year Resolutions

Every New Year, we come up with the same list of cliché resolutions that we never fully stick to after January. We're all guilty of this, so why not think outside the box and try to mix things up this year!

The start of a New Year is like a blank slate to start fresh. Choose one measurable resolution that makes the most sense for you and focus your energy and time into that one goal.

Some fun resolutions you can try are:

Take a picture in 5 new places! This can be a fun way to explore different cities, states or even countries! Make a visual record of your year and visit interesting places along the way.

Learn one new thing, every week. Whether it be something as simple as using a new vocabulary word, or learning how to change your own tire, it is always fun to learn something new and expand your knowledge.

Try a new food or recipe each week! Learning to cook new foods can be hard when you have a busy schedule. If this is a problem you face, a new year's resolution can be to try one new food or recipe a week. Set aside a certain night each week where you cook a food that you've never tried before. One new food you can learn to make is brick oven pizza! Installing a Cambridge pizza oven can be an easy way to reach this goal. Create a different type of pie each week and include the whole family in the preparation!

Do a good deed every day! Doing a good deed each day will not only make others happy, it will make you feel great about yourself. Knowing you are giving off a positive energy to those around you will boost your own happiness and confidence as well.

Unique New Year Resolutions

Start a daily journal or blog! Writing down a daily blurb about what is happening in your life can improve your skills. This can also be something fun to look back on at the end of 2020 to see how far you've come over the year.

This New Year is special because we're closing out the decade! Your New Year's resolutions should reflect this. Make your resolutions this year fun and unique, and something that you'll actually stick to.
